Architectural Metals & Installation
Our relationship with Nemacolin is one that developed over many years. It began in 2017, when Bova Corp was contracted to help develop an artistic event space called “Reflections,” a unique venue area offering indoor and outdoor spaces with breathtaking views of the Laurel Highlands. The gallery walls here exhibit Nemacolin’s curated art collection and serve as the background for the resort’s most memorable events. Bova’s engineering team and project manager worked with an architectural design team at Nemacolin to create a featured work of art in a pyramid design. Stone, glass, and stainless steel were molded together to create this piece. It had to be brought to the site via riggers because of its overall dimensions and weight. Transportation was a challenge because it had to be transported as a wide load over the two-hour trip from Bova Corp to Nemacolin Woodlands. Since this initial project, Bova Corp has continued consistent work at Nemacolin.
We will be updating our photo library soon with finished images of these projects, so please check back.

PITT Training Center
We love the hometown projects! We recently got involved at Pitt’s training facility at the UPMC Sports Performance Complex on Pittsburgh’s South Side. The sports training center is an ideal setting for athletic training, physical training, and team management. It includes four 80-yard outdoor fields with observation towers to allow coaches to clearly analyze and improve on-field performance. It houses the outdoor training facility for Pitt’s football team. Here, Bova Corp was tasked with taking an unused space and turning it into a state-of-the-art serving line for the Pitt Football team, coaches, and staff.
Stainless steel with powder coating was used to create a Pitt themed serving counter. The serving line was custom designed to fit the need and the space. Fabricated signage was created as the finish touch to the project. The new serving line attractive, efficient, durable, and easy to maintain. This feature helped to set the stage for hard work, good nutrition, and team development.

Custom Food Service Manufacturing & Installation
Crown Castle Café
Bova Corp. worked closely with general contractors and food service consultants to bring to life their vision for this stylish, spacious, and full integrated café at Crown Castle’s Southpointe Campus. The goal was to create a dining area with open spaces that could be adapted to informal team meetings or scheduled appointments. The main kitchen area includes multiple coolers, refrigeration units, pizza ovens, carving stations, back of house prep areas for breakfast, lunch, and large meeting needs. All these café elements were custom-built to the specifications of the space and project requirements. With a waterfall quartz front along with powder coat, and stainless steel, this food service equipment and serving lines fit perfectly with the architectural finishes from the other trades.
Along with food service fabrication, Bova Corp provided and installed the attractive copper dividing wall for the seating area to help manage noise and guide guest workflow.

Duolingo Bio Wall
An increasingly popular client request has been the integration of living walls in workspaces and lobby areas. Studies have shown that the use of green elements in any office environment can greatly improve the health and mental well-being of the employees that work there, reducing stress and encouraging relaxation. Such is the case at Duolingo, a Pittsburgh leader in technology and language education. Bova Corp assisted in the development of their new Pittsburgh office, providing the metal fabrication, design, and installation services to help bring the company’s new bio wall to life. Working closely with the design team and florist, we were able to fabricate a stainless-steel fixture custom-designed for the wall that would allow the plants to be creatively displayed around the company logo, while receiving a water supply from an integrated pump. Add in needed overhead lighting to encourage growth and provide some focus, and the result was a dramatic and welcome addition to the company’s entrance area.
